Objective
Students - are proficient in the legislation and providing information on pharmacotherapy - have working knowledge of pharmacology, pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics - are proficient in the basics of pharmacotherapy, ordering medicines, dispensing patient doses, implementation of pharmacotherapy by different modes of administration by natural routes (including subcutaneous injection) - are proficient in implementation of pharmacotherapy of elderly, children and adolescents, disabled patients, mental health and substance abuse patients and implementation of medicines mainly affecting to central nervous system - are proficient in the dosage calculations required in the administration of medication and infusions - can educate clients/patients in pharmacotherapy, encourage their commitment to it and self-care embracing health promotion. - can implement safe pharmacotherapy as member of multiprofessional teams

- professional´s role, tasks and responsibility regarding pharmacotherapy - organization, guidance and supervision of pharmaceutical service, safety issues related to medicines and their administration - pharmacology - safe pharmaceutical process and plan - ordering medicines, dispensing patient doses, implementation of pharmacotherapy by different modes of administration by natural routes (including subcutaneous injection) - implementation of pharmacotherapy of elderly, children and adolescents, disabled patients, mental health and substance abuse patients and implementation of medicines mainly affecting to central nervous system - use of and pharmaceutical databases - follow up of effects, documentation, dosage and assessment of pharmacotherapy - patient education, commitment to pharmacotherapy and self-medication - dosage calculations
