Objective

You know the energy sources, energy production techniques, and physical phenomena in energy production. You can evaluate the economical and environmental aspects of energy production and use. You are familiar with air pollutants and their sources as well as pollution caused by emissions, their transport and transformation. You are familiar with national and international regulations concerning energy production and air pollution. You know the limit and guidance values and can interprete air quality based on them.

Content

What are the energy sources and fuels used in energy production? Which techniques are used in energy production and energy delivery? How is energy price formed? What kind of emissions does energy production cause? What are other types of emissions to the air and where do they come from? How are emissions transformed and dispersed in the air? Are the guidance values or limit values exceeded?
