Objective

The aim of the course is that you understand the different characteristics and use of electric drives. In addition, you get to know the protection procedures of engines. You become familiar with the operation of frequency converters.

You know the most common research methods. You are are able to write according to scientific writing principles and know the thesis writing process. You also know how to acquire information efficiently for your thesis.

Attending the course requires completing the courses of Electric machines, Power electronics and Finnish Communication skills.
