Objective

You have the basic knowledge of introductory-level probability and statistics.
You are able to apply statistical analysis skills especially in decision making and when describing different phenomena in business.
You are able to collect and analyze quantitative data in the context of your own small R&D projects.
You are able to use statistical software tools in order to perform a statistical analysis.

What are the basic concepts of quantitative research?
How is statistical data collected and presented?
What kinds of measures are there for defining central tendency and dispersion?
What are the laws of probability?
What are the most important discrete and continuous probability distributions?
How is the statistical significance of results assessed by using tests and statistical decisions?
How are statistical relationships described with the help of correlation and regression analysis?
What different types of output can be created from data processing and how are they analyzed?
