Objective

You can model phenomena in your field mathematically. You can make use of the models in the exploration of the phenomena and in decision-making.

Content

How can you model the phenomena of the professional field mathematically? How can you make use of these models in the exploration of phenomena and in decision-making?

Evaluation

Students can:
a) use professional vocabulary systematically.
c) identify interrelated tasks.
e) use the key models, methods, software and techniques of the professional field.

Course material

Opiskelumateriaalina kurssin Moodle-sivulla jaettu materiaali. Materiaali perustuu osittain kirjaan Insinöörin matematiikka, Tuomenlehto ym., 1.-3.painos. Myös muut painokset kelpaavat.

Study forms and methods

Työviikkopohjainen oppimisväylä:
Lähiopetusta noin 30 tuntia. Kurssi sisältää (palautettavia) harjoitustehtäviä.
