Objective

After completing the course:
You can describe a living model in such a way that proportions, position and wholeness begin to work in both sketches and more detailed drawings.
You can describe a person's movement by drawing.

You will learn to use more typical techniques and tools in drawing and painting.
You have found your own visual sensitivity and personal style of expression.

How do you measure human proportions?
How do you make the posture and the whole drawing to work?
How is the movement reflected in the drawing?
How do you use different terms when talking about drawings and paintings?
What are the most common drawing and painting tools and materials?
How do you get more sensitivity and content into your own drawings and paintings?
Take classes with: pencil HB-B, charcoal, chamois, charcoal eraser, fixative, soft or oil pastels, liquid ink, Chinese brush, watercolor brushes, gouache colors, watercolor cup, white plate.
