Objective
After completing the course, you are able to:
- describe energy as a quantity and the basics of heat and power generation, energy transmission and distribution
- understand the importance and limitations of energy storage.
You know different energy storage techniques and current energy technology change drivers.
Content
What units of measurement are used to indicate the amount of energy?
Where does the energy come from and where does it go?
How is electrical energy passed on to consumers?
Why are different voltages used in electricity transmission?
How is the electricity grid built?

Students can
