You understand the importance of safety and security in an organisation.
You understand the different roles safety specialists and managers can have within organisations.
You have a basic understanding of human and organisational factors (incl. safety culture)
You have basic skills in event investigation.
You understand the basics of quality management.
You understand what a learning organisation is, especially from a safety point of view.

Evaluation

Students can
a. use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way in different situations. 
b. evaluate information sources critically. 
c. work as team members and promote teams' goal-oriented operation. 
d. evaluate and develop work communities at individual, group and organizational level. 
e. approach work community challenges with solution and development orientation. 
f. choose appropriate models, methods, software and techniques according to the purpose and justify these choices.
