Objective

You are able to observe constructed spaces as places for public use.

You'll deepen your knowledge of spatial design.

You are able to obtain project-specific information and search for design guidelines and rules in the subject area from relevant sources.

You are able to dimension spaces and functions for specific projects.

You are able to evaluate solution options.

You are able to mature and modify your plans if necessary.

You are able to communicate your design by presenting your plans through sketches, simple 2D construction drawings and 3D modeling.

Content

How do you design spaces and understand space needs?

How do you acquire relevant knowledge and understanding of the subject matter?

How do you use the right drawing annotation and presentation methods for each project?

How do you deepen your knowledge based on the information and experience gained during a company visit or from an information session with material suppliers?

Evaluation

Students can

a. use professional vocabulary systematically.

b. look for information in the key information sources of the field.

c. identify interrelated tasks.

d. work together with customers/clients, users and target groups.

e. use the key models, methods, software and techniques of the professional field.

f. work as team members in a goal-oriented way.

g. justify their actions according to the ethical principles of the professional field.
