Objective
You deepen your knowledge of the legislation of Finnish early childhood education and care and the service system.
You become familiar with the National core curriculum for early childhood education and care and the system formed by early childhood education plans and study the basics of the preschool curriculum.
You are able to examine early childhood education and care from a socio-pedagogical perspective and recognise its significance in your own approach to work.
You know the starting points and principles of cooperation with the guardians in early childhood education and care.
You know the starting points of multidisciplinary work in early childhood education and care and are able to guide client families in terms of support measures and services.
You become familiar with the duties and roles of social pedagogues in early childhood education and care when working in both in teams and in the multiprofessional work communities of early childhood education and care.

Qualifications
