Objective
You learn the basics of life cycle thinking and are familiar with the resource efficiency opportunities of circular economy activities. You are able to identify environmental impacts caused by the main life cycle phases of product or service systems as well as the potential for managing such impacts. You are able to describe the essential mechanical, biological and thermal methods of waste treatment and justify their use as tools for circular economy and the green transition.

Students can
