Objective

You can use basic language structures and vocabulary in simple oral and written communication situations at European level (CEFR) A1.2.
You understand standard speech and texts about familiar themes.

After completing the course with grade 3, you can
• read and write the Russian alphabet well
• manage common travel-related situations in Russian (e.g. do shopping, order food and drink in a restaurant, buy tickets)
• tell about the latest news and ask how someone is doing
• give basic information about people, occupations and work
• use basic telephone phrases
• tell about your family, hometown and your home
• use cardinal numbers and you know how to tell time and say dates, months and seasons in Russian
• give basic information about Russian-speaking countries
