Interaction skills in education and social work (5 cr)

Objective

You master the theoretical basis of social interaction.You can combine the theoretical basis of social interaction with the identification and development of communication skills as well as with the construction of interaction and co-operation relations.You are able to use in various ways the supporting methods of interaction and expression.You are familiar with the special features of the multicultural interaction and communication.You know the digital environment and the possibilities of ICT in the social sector.You are appropriately able to take advantage of the use of ICT for learning and future work tasks.

How do you analyze the interaction situations using the theoretical basis?What kind of methodological approaches can be used to construct interaction relationships?How can you apply the supporting methods of interaction and expression to practice in social sector?What are the special features of the multicultural interaction and communication?How is digital technology utilized in social sector?

Study forms and methods

Opiskelija voi suorittaa opintojakson valitsemalla seuraavista suoritusvaihtoehdoista:
1. Työjärjestyspohjainen suoritus: osallistumalla luennoille ja suorittamalla oppimistehtävät
2. Työhön integroitu suoritus: mikäli opiskelijalla on työsuhde sosiaalialan työpaikkaan, missä hän tekee sosionomille soveltuvaa asiakastyötä, hän voi suorittaa opintojakson kirjoittamalla omassa työssään toteuttamaansa vuorovaikutustyötään sekä tenttimällä kirjallisuustentin
3. Näyttötehtävä:Näyttötehtävän lähtökohtana on, että opiskelijalla on olemassa sosiaalialan vuorovaikutusosaamisen opintojakson sisältöjen mukaista todistuksin todennettua osaamista sosiaali- ja terveysalan/lähialan koulutuksen ja sosiaalialan työkokemuksen pohjalta. Tällöin opiskelija suorittaa näyttötehtävän kirjallisuustenttinä

Työhön integroidussa väylässä: Kirjallinen raportti sekä kirjallisuustentti 5 op

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Students can: a. Use professional vocabulary systematically. b. Look for information in the key information sources of the field. c. Identify interrelated tasks. d.
