Objective
You will get some basic knowledge of the performance and functioning of heating, ventilation and water supply systems and how to dimension and design such systems. In the course you will also learn some basics of fluid mechanics and heat transfer and also basics of heat loss calculations of buildings
Content
Heat transfer in steady state conditions in buildings. Calculations of heat transfer coefficient (U-value of building structures). Calculations of heat losses in buildings and pipes. Basics of fluid mechanics and pipe dimensioning. Pressure loss calculations in pipes and ducts.
Evaluation scale
1-5
Qualifications
Basics of HVAC system and building technology.
