Objective

Students know the structure of railway traffic, particularly Eastern traffic. Students understand the importance of the  EU, Finland and Kymenlaakso railway system to Russia. Students understand the railway process from the point of of view of the customer. Sea transport to Russia is very important. Students understand the sea transport process from Finland to Russia. Students know he process of the Saimaa Chanel. Students understand the meaning of telematic as a part of the logistics process. Students are able to describe  special cases in the customs process of international busines.

Content

Railway transport process, sea transport process, transport process of Saimaa Chanel, telematic use in logistics special cases of customs process.

Study forms and methods

Scheduled track:
Materials and tasks and exams (multiple tasks at same time) are open in waves when the previous wave expires the next one will open immediately.
The whole course is implemented as waves.

Blended track:
You will expedite the course’s it means that if you have complete all the performances of this "wave" the next "wave” will open immediately and you could continue the performance according to your timetable.
The cuorse timetable should not be extended to fastening your performances but you must been aware that the following wave will not open before you have carried out all previous tasks / exams.

The student can
a. use professional vocabulary and concepts and show their information-based know-how.

e. use the key models, methods, software and techniques of the professional field under guidance.
g. observe the ethical principles of the professional field in their actions.
