Objective

• you know different wellbeing at work Describing models
• You understand connection between wellbeing at work and employees health and work efectivenes
• understand the importance of well-being company, the employee and the workplace
• understand the supervisor, employer and employee roles in shaping the well-being at the workplac
• you know how to control the employees supervisor monitoring and evaluation of their own wellbeing at work
• you know the well-being of sustaining and remedial processes

Content

• What kinds of well-being theoretical models are there?
• What is the significance of the company's well-being as a success factor?
• What is the role of the employee, the employer and the superior construction of well-being?
• What is the role of occupational health care in the construction of well-being at worka?
• What kinds of challenges to well-being at the workplace have?
• What kinds of means and methods of assessment is, to strengthen the organization and remedial measures the status of well-being in the workplace?

Course material

The literature and study material will be given and inform before the contact learning and the assignment to every contact learning day as well.

Study forms and methods

Scheduled track:
he "flipped" or inverted learning is used as the method that means the students beforehand prepare an assignment for every contact learning day. In the class room teaching the topic will be extensive. The students practice team working skills as well. The class room teaching days: 18th of September, 9th of October and 6th of November.

Student workload

The course is in its whole 5 cr = 135 hours that will be divided for three themes: Theme 1. How is the well being at work made up? - 1,5 cr = 40,5 hours of the student's contribution.
Theme 2. How can the superior build well-being at work? - 1,5 cr = 40,5 hours of the student's contribution.
Theme 3. The processes those maintain and strengthen well-being at work in the work society. - 2 cr = 54 hours of the student's contribution.

Assessment methods and criteria

The fulfilment of the course requires the accepted assignments of every theme. The assignments will be completed as small group working during the contact learning days. The working is based on the preparation of every student for the theme in question.
