Content
How do you define and delimit the topic of your thesis and draw up a research or development plan?
How do you apply and combine various sources of information to define concepts and create a theoretical framework for your thesis?
How do you select and justify the research and professional development approach to solving the research or development task?

The material will be given during the seminars

Study forms and methods
Scheduled track:
Seminar to discuss the topics and methods of masters´ thesis in small groups.
Individual supervision when needed.
A written research plan is conducted and presented during the course.
The guidelines of Xamk masters´ thesis, is implemented during the course.
Independent track:
The thesis is based on development of working life (nursing)
Blended track:
The masters´ thesis is based on working life (nursing) development. It will be assessed and approved. The student must present the research plan of the thesis.
RDI and work-related cooperation
The thesis is conducted in collaboration with the healt care organisations, as a development project.
Student workload
The total word load is 270 hours, divided in:
- Seminar 16 hours
- Independent learning 254 hours
