Objective
- Accepted completion of the course in each material workshop gives the right to work independently at the workshops.
- You can use the machines, equipment and hand tools of the workshops.
- You are able to make an active contribution to the development of the working environment.
- You are familiar with the structure, properties and ways of working in the workshop in question.
- You are able to identify the most common materials and their basic properties.
- You learn to follow development in the field and can continuously develop your material skills.
Content
How to use tools, machines and devices safely and keep them in good condition?
How to identify the most important properties of materials?
How to design aesthetic and suitable objects and products while using material responsibly?
Study forms and methods
A learning route based on a working week according to timetable.
Student workload
5cr is 135h where contact teaching is 70h and independence working is 65h

The basic metal and wood workshops will be carried out in the study module.
