Objective

You have the basic knowledge of introductory-level statistics.
You are able to apply statistical analysis skills especially in decision-making and when describing different phenomena in business.
You are able to collect and analyze quantitative data in the context of your own R&D projects.
You are able to use statistical software tools in order to perform a statistical analysis.

What are the basic concepts of statistics?
How is statistical data collected?
How to analyse and describe data by using a statistical software package?
How to define and calculate statistical measures?
What are statistical relationships between variables, and how to analyse and describe them?
What are the basics of statistical decision theory?
How is the statistical significance of results assessed by using tests and statistical decisions?
