You master the key nursing methods of a surgical and perioperative patient.
You master the aseptic practices in your own work and in patient care.

You master the operating models preventing complications and promoting rehabilitation in nursing perioperative patients.
You can work utilizing operating models that promote patient and work safety.
You can apply your knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology to surgical and perioperative nursing.
You can carry out the medication of a surgical and perioperative patient safely utilizing applied pharmacology.
You know the principles of safe transfusion.
You can carry out evidence-based pain management.
You know how to apply guidance and teaching methods to surgical and perioperative nursing.

Ilmoittautuessasi tälle opintojakson toteutukselle osallistut työjärjestyksen mukaiseen opetukseen ja ohjaukseen. Opiskelusi rytmittyy työjärjestyksen mukaisten ryhmätapaamisten ja itsenäisesti tehtävien oppimistehtävien mukaan.
