Objective
You can use basic language structures and vocabulary in oral and written communication situations at European level (CEFR) A1.2.
You understand standard speech and texts about familiar and workrelated themes.
Content
What kind of vocabulary and language structures do you need in the basic communication situations in working life?
How do you use basic language structures in working life communication situations?
How do you improve your listening comprehension skills related to communication situations also in the working life?
Course material
Tailormaid.
Study forms and methods
Integration with working life may be possible for some of the contents and tasks of this course. The student is asked to negotiate the options with the lecturer before the course starts.
RDI and work-related cooperation
Work orientated communication situations.
Timing of exams and assignments
Written and oral test in December 2022.
International cooperation
Leila Rajander (translator, interpreter ja licensed tour guide in France) , our "correspondent" in Paris.
