Objective

You know the most common challenges of global health.
You know the common national diseases, their risk factors, prevention and care.
You can advice the client on how to prevent non-communicable diseases.
You can advice the client to reach an appropriate balance by nutrition, physical activity and rest.
You know the most common medication for national diseases and can advice the client accordingly.
You can utilize technology in the support of self-care.

Course part description

Opintojakso muodostuu tavoitteiden mukaisista teemoista. Jokaiseen teemaan liittyy oppimistehtävä tai-tehtäviä, johon/joihin on osoitettu materiaali tai materiaali on etsittävä itse valitun aiheen mukaisesti. Osa tehtävistä arvioidaan numeraalisesti, ja osa asteikolla hyväksytty - hylätty.
