Study forms and methods

We offer three learning paths: a working week-based learning path, an accelerated learning path and a learning path that enables integrating studies into work.
Working week-based learning path

You attend teaching and guidance sessions in accordance with the timetable. Your studies consist of group meetings according to the timetable and learning assignments that you do independently.
Accelerated learning path

You can accelerate your studies by independent learning, such as taking online courses, or by choosing courses from the timetable of some other group. Compared with the working week-based learning path, independent learning involves more independent studying of the subject at hand. You can combine independent studying with the working week-based system. This means that you may attend class according to your interests and needs. Your learning assignments, however, are designed in accordance with the independent path. If you have previously acquired relevant skills, you may be eligible for recognition of prior learning (RPL).
Integrating studies into work

If you are working in a company or organisation of your field of study, or you are participating in a relevant project of a higher education institution, you can earn full or partial credit for a course or module in the workplace/project. Discuss the arrangements with your teacher at the beginning of the course and agree on a development assignment to be carried out in the workplace or on the project. It is required that, during your work, you study the themes included in the course and master them in theory and practice. You prove your learning in a skills demonstration. Its extent and format are determined by the learning outcomes of the course. Learn about the recognition of prior learning (RPL).
