After the course you have skills:
to work with clients in social work within the framework of social rehabilitation.
to apply the rehabilitative work approach and methods in mental health work.
to guide and support mental health clients of different ages in their rehabilitation processes.
to guide clients in the service system of mental health work.

What is orientation of mental health work in social work?
What are the special characteristics of mental health work with children, the youth and adults?
What kind of methods of helping and ways of work are used to support good mental health?

Study forms and methods

Työviikkopohjainen oppimisväylä: Luentoja, tehtäviä ja tentti. Käytössä Learn-oppimisympäristö.
Opintoja nopeuttava oppimisväylä: Mahdollista osallistua opintojaksolle muistakin ryhmistä, jos opintojaksolla on tilaa.
Työhön integroitu oppimisväylä: Opintojaksolla työhön integroitu tehtävä niille, jotka työskentelevät mielenterveystyön kentällä.
