Objective

- you learn basic information and basic skills relating to the most significant wood materials and methods, as well as wood-based materials and methods
- you identify the properties of various wood species and wood-based materials and know how to process them in a suitable way
- you know how to appropriately use wood and wood-based materials

What property demands do different materials have and how do they affect the choice of manufacturing technique?
What kind of wood or wood-based material is the most suitable in terms of manufacture, function and use?
