Objective

Knowledge and understanding of and proficiency in:
- dimension and select low voltage transformer components
- design the overcurrent and contact voltage protection of the conversion circuit
- design overcurrent and earth-fault protection for radially grounded and deactivated medium voltage networks
- protection and automation of electricity distribution networks

Content

- modeling of network components and loads
- the power-sharing calculation
- calculation of short-circuit currents
- calculation of current leakage situations
- basic principles for the use of electricity distribution networks
- techno-economic planning of electricity distribution networks
