Objective

After the course, the student:
- has the knowledge required of a boiler plant operator concerning the operating principles and safe operation of water boilers
- can design district heating systems
- is able to calculate steam systems using the H-S diagram and steam tables

What regulations are applied for boiler plants, water boilers and the fuels used in the operation?
How are fuels properly handled?
What combustion devices are used and how is the process of fuel combustion carried out?
What factors affect the efficiency of boilers?
How are district heating centres and district heating networks operated?
What is steam technology?

Ilmoittautuessasi tälle opintojakson toteutukselle osallistut työjärjestyksen mukaiseen opetukseen ja ohjaukseen. Opiskelusi rytmittyy työjärjestyksen mukaisten ryhmätapaamisten ja itsenäisesti tehtävien oppimistehtävien mukaan.
