Objective
You have the mathematic skills necessary in the most common problem solving situations. You are able to apply mathematical skills especially in decision making and when describing different phenomena in business or economics. You are able to plan and maintain your own financial affairs. You are able to use software tools in calculations related to financial and business matters.

How are taxes and profitability calculated? Why are indices used to describe the phenomena in business and economics? How do currencies affect the different factors in economy? What are simple interest and compound interest? What kinds of financial instruments are available? How can the profitability of investments be measured?
