You can apply your knowhow in respiratory and cardiovascular physiotherapy at advanced level / in demanding situations.
You can take into consideration the specific features of respiratory and cardiovascular diseases and benefit from multi-scientific knowledge when implementing therapy and guidance.
You can apply evidence-based methods in the assessment of load level and in applying respiratory and cardiovascular physiotherapy utilizing differential diagnosis and clinical reasoning.
You can show your expertise of physiotherapy in multi-professional teams.
You can utilize the knowhow of multi-professional teams in supporting clients’ functions and health-promoting life style.

How do you choose, justify, and use assessment methods for performance and load levels to support clients’ targets?
How do you support clients’ ability to assess their own progress at various stages of rehabilitation?
How do you develop and implement the progressive and right-tier training program for respiratory and cardiovascular clients at various stages of rehabilitation by aligning it with the clients' psychosocial resources?
How do you guide and support your clients and persons close to them to make use of the potential of living environments and social participation?
How do you cooperate multi-professionally in specific issues related to respiratory and cardiovascular diseases?

Opiskelumateriaali on Learn-alustalla sähköisenä ja itsenäisenä opiskelumateriaalina.

Study forms and methods

Tämä opintojakso tehdään verkossa Learn-alustalla. Opiskelusi rytmittyvät Learn-alustalla olevien itsenäisesti tehtävien oppimistehtävien mukaan.

Opintojakson oppimistehtävät suoritetaan itsenäisesti verkko-opintoina ja verkkokeskusteluna.

Timing of exams and assignments

Opintojakson hyväksytty suorittaminen edellyttää opintojaksoon kuuluvien oppimistehtävien hyväksyttyä suorittamista. Oppimistehtävät arvioidaan hyväksytty / täydennettävä. Hyväksytty tulee olla tasoa H/3.

Opiskelu on Itsenäistä verkko-opiskelua.

Student workload

Opiskelijan työmäärä on 5op:tä, eli 135 tuntia.

Course part description

1. Hengitys-ja sydänfysioterapian osaamisen päivitys (0,5op)
2. Hengitys-ja sydänkuntoutujan suorituskyvyn testaaminen (1,5op)
3. Hengitys-ja sydänkuntoutujan harjoitusohjelman laatiminen (1,5op)
4. Hengitys-ja sydänkuntoutuksen soveltaminen (1,5op)

Opiskelija perehtyy Learnissa olevaan oppimateriaaliin ja annetut oppimistehtävät erillisten tehtäväksiantojen mukaisesti yllämainituista teemoista.

Opintojakso on mahdollista tehdä kesäopintoina 1.6 - 31.7.2023 välisenä aikana.
Mikäli haluat tehdä opintojakson kesäopintoina tulee sinun ilmoittautua opintojaksolle 14.3.23- 31.3.2023
Opettaja lähettää kaikille ilmoittautuneille toukokuun alussa tarkemmat tiedot kesän opintojaksosta.

Mikäli haluat tehdä opintojakson syksyllä 4.9-15.12.23, niin ilmoittautuminen opintojaksolle on 6.4-21.4.2023
Syksyllä alkavasta opintojaksosta opettaja lähettää kaikille tiedot elokuussa 2023.
