Professional Swedish for nursing (3 cr)

Objective

You are able to communicate in Swedish orally and in writing in various communication situations in your professional field. You are able to actively use the basic professional vocabulary of your field.
The aimed level of competence is B1 as defined in the Common European Framework of Reference and the national skills level descriptions according to decree 18.12.2014/1129.

Tämä on sairaanhoitajiksi opiskeleleville tarkoitettu ammattiruotsin kurssi, joka sisältää lukujärjestykseen merkittyä opetusta ja verkkotehtäviä.

Opintojaksolla harjoitellaan alakohtaista sanastoa ja viestintätilanteita työelämän tarpeisiin.

Timing of exams and assignments

Opintojaksolla on kirjallinen tentti ja suullinen testi. Kirjallinen tentti on tarkoitus pitää lukujärjestykseen merkityllä viimeisellä opetuskerralla. Uusintatentit ovat Examissa.

Student workload

Opintojakson laajuus 3 op vastaa noin 80 tuntia opiskelijatyötä.

Assessment methods and criteria

Tutkintotodistukseen tulee kurssisuorituksen lisäksi erillinen merkintä ruotsin kirjallisesta ja suullisesta taidosta. Sekä kirjallisesta että suullisesta kielitaidosta annetaan arvosana 1 - 3 (tyydyttävä taito) tai 4 - 5 (hyvä taito). Arviointi perustuu valtakunnallisiin suosituksiin.

Qualifications

If you have been instructed to participate in the Intensive course of Swedish, you must complete it or independently acquire the equivalent knowledge and skills before you can participate in this course.

Further information

In accordance with the statutory requirement (424/2003, ch.2, section 6) of language skills required of state personnel with an academic degree, the skills in second official language will be recorded in the degree certificate separately for both spoken and written skills.
Grades 1-3 are recorded as satisfactory skills and grades 4-5 as good skills in the degree certificate.
