Objective
After you have completed the course you
- know the basics of inorganic chemistry
- know how to work safely in a laboratory
- know basic chemical methods and laboratory equipment
- understand how chemistry is part of conservation/restoration and documentation of the object in the conservation/restoration process
- know how to apply knowledge of chemistry by using and disposing of harmful materials
- know where to research and use information about the safest methods and materials from the perspectives of the user and the object of restoration
- understand the restrictions of sampling due to the ethics of conservation/restoration
