Objective

You can identify the main domestic tree species, wooden shrubs and foreign trees growing in Finland. You know the main species of plants growing in mineral and peatland soils and are also able to define biological, ecological and wood production characteristics of these species.

Study forms and methods

Työviikkopohjainen oppimisväylä:
Kurssi koostuu kontaktiopetuksesta, jota on n. 1/2 opiskelijan ajankäytöstä, sekä itsenäisestä opiskelusta, joka pitää sisällään myös palautettavia etätehtäviä. Kontaktiopetus painottuu alkusyksystä maasto-opetukseen ja loppusyksystä sisällä tapahtuvaan luento-opetukseen.

Kasvi- ja puulajien tunnistustentit. Lajintunnistustenttien uusinnat sovittava opettajan kanssa erikseen.
