Objective

You know the basics of the Finnish child protection and family work service system and the related legislation.
You are able to analyse the life situation of children, adolescents and families in changing society and assess the need for family work and child protection.
You study the values and operating principles of child protection and family work.
You identify the principles and stages of the child protection and family work process.
You know the main ethical principles, practices and methods when working with children, adolescents and families.

Suomalaisen lastensuojelun ja perhetyön palvelujärjestelmän ja lainsäädännön tunteminen.
Lasten ja perheiden erilaisten elämäntilanteiden tunnistaminen ja perhetyön ja lastensuojelun tarpeen arvioiminen.
Perhetyöhön ja lastensuojeluun liittyvien arvojen ja periaatteiden tunnistaminen.
Lastensuojelun ja perhetyön prosessit.
Lasten, nuorten ja perheiden kanssa työskentelyssä tunnistettavia eettisiä periaatteita sekä keskeisiä työotteita ja menetelmiä.
