Leardership and development work (10 cr)

Objective

After completing this training period you have skills:
- to estimate and survey the development needs, quality of the work, work communities and the services of your own field.
- to design and develop the work and services in the social field together with the representatives of work communities.
- to survey ongoing research and development activities in your own field.
- to as far as possible apply research and development methods and tools in the development work of the working life and to report on development work.
- to identify the content and responsibilities of managerial work.
- to identify the significance of influencing work in social services.
- to assess your work and your ways of action.
- to assess your vocational strengths and development needs and you are able to develop them.

Content

How do you estimate and survey the development needs and the quality of the work, work communities and the services in your own field?
How do you design and develop the work and services in the social field together with the representatives of work communities?
How do you survey ongoing research and development activities concerning your own field and apply research and development methods and tools in the development work of the working life and report on development work?
How do you study the content and responsibilities of managerial work?
How do you know the significance of influencing work in social services?
How do you assess your work and your ways of action?
How do you assess your vocational strengths and development needs and develop them?

Course material

Soveltuva harjoitteluun liittyvä kirjallisuus aiemmilta opintojaksoilta sekä opiskelijan itse etsimä soveltuva kirjallisuus ja tutkimustieto.

Study forms and methods

Harjoittelujakson voi tehdä oman aikataulunsa mukaisesti edeltävyysehtojen täyttyessä.
Harjoittelujaksosta tulee ilmoittaa viimeistään 1kk ennen harjoittelun aloittamista koordinaattorille.

Timing of exams and assignments

Harjoittelujaksosta tulee ilmoittaa viimeistään 1kk ennen harjoittelun aloittamista koordinaattorille.
Harjoittelujakso sisältää tehtäviä, joita palautetaan ennen harjoittelua, harjoittelun aikana ja harjoitttelujakson jälkeen.

International cooperation

Harjoittelun voi tehdä kv-vaihdossa harjoitteluun soveltuvassa paikassa.

Student workload

1op vastaa 27h opiskelijan työtä.
Harjoittelun keskimääräinen kesto on seitsemän kalenteriviikkoa.
