Objective

You recognize the importance and potential of social pedagogy in today's society especially in the theoretical background of sustainable development.
You recognize the values and targets of the ecosocial approach and you know how to act according to them.
You are able to utilize community work in the various working environments of a community educator.
You can promote the wellbeing of people in the framework of social pedagogy.

What is social pedagogy and what is its significance and potential in today's society?
What does the ecosocial approach mean and what values and principles does it contain?
What is community work as a working method and how can it be utilized in community educators' working environments?
How can social pedagogy contribute to people's participation and wellbeing?

Study forms and methods

Lukuvuonna 2024 opintojakson työviikkopohjainen oppimisväylä toteutetaan osana Interrail-projektia.

Voit suorittaa opintojakson myös verkko-opintoina tai toteuttaa opintojakson toiminnallisena työelämäprojektina. Ole tällöin yhteydessä suoraan opintojakson opettajaan.

RDI and work-related cooperation

Interrail-projektin osana toteutetaan lopputyö, joka on näytillä Mikkelin kampuksella syksyllä 2024.

Opintojakso on mahdollista integroida työelämässä toteutettavaan projektiin tai toteuttaa osittain Juvenian hanketyössä.
