Objective
You know the guiding principles of EU and Finnish waste policy and legislation. You know how to describe the current state of waste management as well as the most important municipal waste management operations. You are able to describe the most common operations that cause soil pollution and the spread of contaminants and factors affecting the state of environment. You are able to assess the amount of pollution, environmental and health risks and know the main methods and legislation for the remediation of contaminated soil.
