Opetus pitää sisällään lähiopetusta, jossa luentoja ja läsnäolopakollisia simulaatio-harjoituksia. Lisäksi oppimistehtäviä.
Kaksi vuotta perhetyön työkokemusta omaavat voivat halutessaan hakea hyväksilukua osaamisen näytöllä.
