Business game (5 cr)

Objective

You are able to recognise economic interrelations of business and participate in enterprise business planning.
You are able to apply professional knowledge and skills in simulated business decision-making situations.
You are able to analyse the activities of an enterprise by making calculations and using statistical data in order to support the decision making.
You are able to work as a member of a team in a simulated business competition and make entrepreneurial decisions when pressed for time and having incomplete information.

How does an enterprise operate, and what are the economic interrelations of different activities?
How to plan, budget, implement and analyse the activities of an enterprise?
How do the competitors behave and how do the decisions of competitors influence the decision-making of the enterprise?

Study forms and methods

Monimuotototeutus eli ilmoittautuessasi tälle opintojakson toteutukselle osallistut sekä itsenäiseen verkko-opiskeluun että lukujärjestyksen mukaiseen opetukseen ja ohjaukseen. Opiskelusi rytmittyy itsenäisesti opiskeltavan teorian, ryhmätyöskentelyn sekä lukujärjestyksen mukaisten lähitapaamisten mukaan.
