Objective

1. You can use the vocabulary and concepts related to heat sources, different heating systems and their parts in buildings in a proficient way.
2. You can justify the selection of heat sources and heat emitters and their importance in the designing phase by your expertise from the perspective of good thermal comfort conditions and energy efficiency.
3.You can select and dimension functional heating systems, heat distribution and control of heating power based on your heat demand calculations and you can balance heat distribution to meet the requirements of good thermal comfort and energy efficiency in buildings.

Content

*How is the calculated heat demand distributed to different heat emitters in rooms and facilities?
*How is the distribution network and its equipment dimensioned?
*How are the circulation pump head and flow rate calculated and how is an energy efficient pump selected?
*How is the heating power regulated to meet momentary heat demand with control valves?
*How is the heat distribution balanced with the help of pressure loss calculations?
*How is the heating system equipped with correct safety and expansion devices?
*How are the different parts of heating systems connected together to make a functioning whole?

Osallistut työjärjestyksen mukaiseen opetukseen ja ohjaukseen. Opiskelusi rytmittyvät työjärjestyksen mukaisten ryhmätapaamisten ja itsenäisesti tehtävien oppimistehtävien mukaan.
