Objective

- You are familiar with the most common CAD programs of your special field.
- You understand the advantages and efficient use of the chosen program.
- You can use 2D and 3D tools of the program.
- You are able to develop your skills by using the program in assignments given on other courses.

- Which CAD programs will you use in your future profession, and why?
- How do you use and make the most of the chosen program?
- How do you use the 2D and 3D tools of the program?
- How can you develop your skills by using the program in assignments given on other courses.?

Available in Learn platform. Possibly different books, articles etc. which the teacher will hand out.

Study forms and methods

Studies can follow different tracks depending on students’ situations in life. There are three different tracks for the studies: scheduled track, independent track and blended track

The course does not include TKI (research, developement, innovation) projects.

Timing of exams and assignments

No exam - the course includes assignments. The timetable is available in the start of the course.

International cooperation

The course does not include international studies or projects.

Student workload

5 credits equals about 135h of work (approximately 4 weeks) - lectures and workshops make about 70h rest of it is to be done independently by students.

Course part description

The course is divided in several parts:
- basics of technical drawings in fashion with Adobe Illustrator
- Flat pattern drafting with Grafis software
