You show that you are familiar with the concepts, materials and methods of remote sensing and forest inventory.
You are able to carry out forest inventories using the main models, procedures, computer programmes and techniques of your occupation.
You are able to participate in a goal-oriented way in the work of your group.

How are forest inventories carried out by using sampling techniques?
How to work in a goal-oriented way as a member of a group?
Course material
Osoitetaan opintojakson aikana luennolla/löörnissä. Tapion taskukirja, Metsävaratieto-Hankinta ja hyödyntäminen.
Study forms and methods
Opintoja nopeuttava oppimisväylä:
Metsäninventointi, noin 30 kontaktituntia (luokka/atk + maasto), harjoitustehtäviä (etä) sekä itsenäistä opiskelua.
Metsäninventoinnin perusteet ja menetelmät, kaukokartoitus ja otantainventoinnin toteutus.
Kuvioittainen arviointi.
