Objective

The aim of the course is to train the student in the basic skills of drawing and sketching.
A student who has gone through the course is able to draw basic shapes and describe them using a line, light and shadow.
He can draw a person and can describe human details like a face.
They can use perspective, color, light and shadow to describe the space.
The compositional and color tasks train the eye in the realization of balanced and interesting images.

Content

The course involves a large number of basic exercises to help the student find confidence in image expression. One learns to perceive basic forms, drawing from life, perspective, basics of composition and color. The course is suitable for students who wish to develop basic skills in handcrafted drawing and sketching.

Materials and Supplies
Pencils (various hardness degrees), charcoals, a chamois, fixative spray, a pressed charcoal, a charcoal rubber or blue tack, ink (liquid black), watercolour brushes of various thicknesses, large flat brushes, a bamboo brush, a dip pen, soft pastels, watercolours
