Objective

Knowledge and understanding of and proficiency in:
- safe operation of electrical equipment
- use of hand tools and measuring instruments
- monitoring and operation of electrical devices
- principles of work safety and electrical work safety
The course aims to ensure that the competency requirements of a ship electrician are met according to STCW III/7.

Content

- commissioning and maintenance of hotel equipment
- maintenance of air conditioning systems
- electrical work safety
- electrical safety
- selection and installation of electrical equipment
- quality and control inspections during work
- commissioning inspections of electrical installations
- basic knowledge of electro-hydraulic and electro-pneumatic control systems
