Course material
Anatomy and physiology: Learn has study material, tasks and teaching recordings, which should primarily be used because they contain the central study material.
When delving deeper into the subjects of the course, you can use any university of applied sciences textbook of anatomy and physiology.
I recommend: Leppäluoto, Kettunen, Rintamäki, Vakkuri, Vierimaa, Lätti: Anatomy and physiology - From structure to function. (Newest edition - older editions also work) Sanoma Pro Oy (ISBN 978-952-63-5311-1)
Patient safety:
Separately assigned learning material on the Learn platform.
Study forms and methods
Anatomy and physiology:
The course is implemented in Learn and the course includes interactive teaching and guidance online. The webinars are time-bound and marked in the agenda. You can participate in them from your home computer and they are recorded, so you can watch them as a recording if you cannot participate at the time in question.
The course includes assignments to be returned and performances to be evaluated. These must be completed during the implementation of the course. More detailed instructions on completing the anatomy and physiology section of the course are presented in Learn.
Patient safety:
Part of the study course is carried out independently online, part is carried out by contact via webinars with Teams connection in accordance with the course schedule.
RDI and work-related cooperation
Patient safety: possibly professionals lectures
Timing of exams and assignments
Anatomy and physiology:
Returnable tasks, partial exams and the final exam must be completed during the implementation of the study course, but the student can choose the exact times of completion.
Patient safety:
The certificates of the Patient safety course must be returned to Learn in the return folder reserved for it, within the schedules given in the course.
The return times for learning tasks are informed in the course orientation.
International cooperation
The course does not have a specific goal of international cooperation.
Student workload
1 credit corresponds to approximately 27 hours of student work. However, the amount of work depends on the study methods and from previous competence.
Course part description

Assessment methods and criteria
Anatomy and fysiology:
The evaluation of the course is based on the performance of the course and exams. In addition, the student must return the assignments marked for return in Learn within the deadline.
More detailed evaluation criteria are presented in Learn for the part of anatomy and physiology (3 credits), which will be evaluated from 1 to 5.
Patient safety: It is evaluated on a scale of passed-to-be-completed-rejected
