Objective

You know the origins of air pollution and their effects on air quality.
You know the air impurities caused by human actions, for example, logistics and industrial production.
You can calculate the migration of pollutants in the atmosphere and know how substances are transformed.
You know how air quality and air pollution emissions are analysed.
You are familiar with the environmental effects of air pollution.

Content

What pollution sources exist and how do they affect air quality?
How are the origination and migration of air pollutants measured and evaluated?
What type of environmental effects do air pollutants have?
What processes are used globally to minimize air pollution?

Course material

Basic engineering physics and chemistry, Environmental chemistry and analytics, Environmental modelling

Study forms and methods

Participate in lectures following the schedule. It is presented at the beginning of the course.

RDI and work-related cooperation

If possible

Timing of exams and assignments

Will be decided as per the schedule at the beginning of the course.
