You can present arguments in a valid manner.
You can combine sets algebraically.
You are able to utilize sequences and series, and understand combinatorics.

Content

How are numbers represented in different number systems, and how are they used in calculations?
What is logic and valid reasoning?
How are sets and relations defined, combined, and described?
How does abstract algebra, especially Boolean algebra, function?
How are sequences and series utilized?
How do combinations and permutations function in problem solving?

Seymour Lipschutz, Essential Computer Mathematics, Schaum's Outline Series, McGraw-Hill 1982 or 1987. Additional material in Learn.
