What is programming and what are programming languages?
What are variables, data types and operators?

How are the concepts mentioned above applied in programming?

The study materials will be published in the Learn environment during the course
Study forms and methods
Teaching is conducted entirely as in-person teaching at the Kotka campus according to the schedule.
Remote participation is not possible.
In-person teaching is not recorded as a rule, and it is not replaced by remote lectures when in-person teaching is provided according to the schedule. Assignments to be assessed are completed independently or in groups on a case-by-case basis.

Student workload
Achieving the learning outcomes requires 135 hours of work of which about third are contact lessons and laboratory exercises and the rest are self study, practice exams and remote exercises
