You understand the key aspects of information technologies and networks, and their role in a bigger picture.
You understand key principles and methods for using and configuring various ICT systems.

Content

How can information be stored, transferred and processed in digital systems?
What are the key services and technologies related to data networks?
How are different ICT devices and systems managed?

Study forms and methods

Scheduled track:
Course contains study materials, guided laboratory exercises and written reports. Laboratory exercises are done in small groups.

Blended track:
It is possible to study the material and do the exercises without attending to the laboratory classes. This needs to be agreed with the teacher before hand.

Student workload

135 hours, of which 60 hours are worked in the labs. Rest of the time is used for self study, report writing and exam preparations.
