Study forms and methods

This course of study consists of two sections: theory (4 ECTS) as a common implementation of campuses as online studies, as well as clinical practice (1 ECTS) implemented on a group basis on campus.

The course info provides you with more detailed information on how to complete the course, attendance obligation, study material, etc. It is strongly recommended that you know the essentials of taking a course from the very beginning.

The theory section of the course (4 ECTS) consists of several sub-areas including recorded lectures, competence tests, online courses in the learning portal as well as the compiling Exam exam. In addition, the course includes passing the Hospice Passport and the RAI test.
The implementation includes 8 contact teaching sessions online in the theory section and additionally time-free independent work in the online environment. As for the clinical practice of the implementation, it takes place as contact teaching on campus.
The theory section of the course progresses according to a common schedule, the clinical practice sections according to each group's syllabus. Teacher guidance is available in connection with contact teaching or by contacting the teacher on the course's own campus by email.

Clinical practice in work-related nursing situations.

Timing of exams and assignments

Theory classes are in weeks 36-44.
EXAM exam in weeks 44-46. First re-exam: week 49 and second re-exam: week 51.

The course ends at the time indicated in the implementation information, by which time you have returned the tasks required for the performance, completed the exam and participated in the clinical practice.

Student workload

One credit (1 ECTS) corresponds to approximately 27 hours of student work. However, the amount of work depends on study skills and previous knowledge.
In this course (5 credits), the student's workload is approx. 135 t.
