You identify family work as a part of family service system and know the legislation concerning family work.
You know different orientations of family work and its working environments.
You know how to work with families with different cultural backgrounds.
You are able to account for the resources and immediate networks of families.
You are able to work systematically and ethically in family work processes together with families.

What is family work as a part of the family service system and what kind of legislation applies to family work?

Course material
Opiskelumateriaali annetaan kurssilla. Kaikki perhetyöhön liittyvät teokset sopivat kurssille hyvin.
Study forms and methods
Opetus pitää sisällään lähiopetusta, jossa luentoja ja läsnäolopakollisia workshopeja, perhetyön messut sekä simulaatio-harjoituksia. Lisäksi oppimistehtäviä.
Kaksi vuotta tuoretta perhetyön työkokemusta omaavat voivat halutessaan hakea hyväksilukua osaamisen näytöllä.
RDI and work-related cooperation
Perhetyön messut yhteistyössä alueen lapsiperhetoimijoiden kanssa.
Timing of exams and assignments
Tenttien ja tehtävien ajoittuminen ilmoitetaan kurssialustalla sen auettua opiskelijoille.
